Wake up inside the reserve

Stay With Us

Before anything else, the Syndicate is a place to sleep. Everything the experience is made of — the parrots at first light, the mist coming off the canopy, the trail to the falls before anyone else is on it — belongs to the people who stayed the night.

Three ways to sleep here

Find Your Kind of Night

A room with a door and a kitchen, a tent under the trees, or the whole place to yourselves — the forest sounds the same from all three.

Not just a room

The Rest of the Place

You're sleeping inside the visitor centre the reserve grew around. These are the spaces that come with it.

The reading terrace

The reading terrace

Cushioned benches, a low table and the canopy starting where the railing ends.

Hammocks on the lawn

Hammocks on the lawn

Strung between the trees below the building. Arguably the point of the whole thing.

The yoga terrace

Mats go down along the open gallery, facing the forest. Sessions appear in the agenda.

The wellness room

A treatment room on site — massages can be arranged for you or for a group.

Before you come

Good to Know

Getting here

About 45 minutes from Douglas-Charles Airport. We can arrange your transfer, or a car, before you land.

Where you wake up

The visitor centre of the Morne Diablotins National Park, roughly 1,600 feet up in the north of the island. It was built to protect this forest and to help people watch it.

At your door

Every trail in the reserve starts here: the Syndicate Nature Trail, the walk to Syndicate Falls, and Segments 10 and 11 of the Waitukubuli.

Eating

Our restaurant and bar serve local Caribbean cooking, vegetarian and vegan at heart. The road up is lined with small organic farms.

First light

This is the prime observation area for the Sisserou and Jaco Parrots. Guests are already here when they call.

Anything else

Arrival times, dietary needs, an extra bed, a longer stay — ask on WhatsApp and we'll answer personally.

The forest is quieter after the last car leaves.

Pick your dates, and the reserve is yours from dusk to first light.
